The Next Issue- Interview w/ John Arcudi
Almost every month (about ten times a year), I get an issue of what is probably my favorite ongoing comic. And I’m not just saying that. I can’t really think of anything else that comes out this frequently that is so consistently good. Except Hellboy, which doesn’t come out nearly as often. Anyways, the comic is B.P.R.D., the writer is John Arcudi, and I got to sit down with him and pick his brain for a while.
I first met John a few years ago when I worked framing art. He came into the shop, and as I took measurements and did some math, I made with the idle chit chat. He said he was a writer, and I asked if he worked at The Inquirer. He laughed at me. Long story short, I wound up bending his ear about Lobster Johnson for a while.
There’s been a lot of B.P.R.D since then. A bunch of minis. An OGN. Some hardcovers. Even a complete collection. We cover pretty much all of it in this interview. I hope you enjoy it.

The Next Issue #62 w/ a Super Secret Guest Host!
For this episode Greg could not join us and we needed some one to fill those shoes. We were fortunate enough to find ourselves in the company of artist Nick Pitarra (The Red Wing, the forthcoming The Manhattan Projects, both from Image)! This one runs a bit longer than usual, but it’s all good stuff. San Diego coverage, Captain America, low brow comics, and a ton of other stuff. Have a listen, won’t you?
